Rules, altitude, and the three ways to climb.
One answer, fifteen seconds, the obvious word wins.
02Common answers lift. Rare ones stay near the trees.
03Same guess. Daily, Classic, and Endless end differently.
04Survey questions. Daily shares one set of seven.
05Open the climb and start from the forest floor.
The game
Noillirk is a survey climb you play in the browser. A prompt appears, you type the answer most people would give, and a rider on three balloons rises if the crowd would have said the same thing. The obvious word is the whole point. A rare word, or a guess that does not belong, leaves you in the trees.
Nothing to install and no account. Open Noillirk, read the line, and answer. Daily and Classic are seven prompts, fifteen seconds each. Seven Sky High answers are 700 points, shown as about 14 km, still around the jet stream. A guess that is not on the list scores nothing.
Noillirk is not a trivia quiz and not a spelling test. There is no single correct fact to recall. If a hundred ordinary people saw the same prompt, Noillirk wants the word that would come out first. Clever, specific, or technical answers usually stay low. Plain ones climb.
How to play
Every Noillirk prompt opens with Ready, then a three-second countdown. Type one answer and climb, or pass. The timer is fifteen seconds. An empty box, a pass, or a timeout scores no lift. You do not get a second try on that prompt.
Shorter, ordinary words usually beat clever ones. Plurals and the same phrase in a different order can still match. The board is hidden while you type, so you are guessing the crowd, not reading a list. Say the thing a friend would shout, not the thing a textbook would print.
The rider sits on the card. A strong answer carries that card up through the sky. The scale on the right is altitude, from the forest floor toward the jet stream. In Noillirk the picture and the number move together: more points, higher air, a different backdrop.
A Noillirk turn is short on purpose. Fifteen seconds is enough to grab the first word and not enough to research it. If you start inventing a precise phrase, the clock will beat you. Trust the boring answer. Keys, coffee, pizza, and mom show up more often than a private joke.
Scoring
Points become altitude. Sky High is 100, ranks two through four are 64, and ranks five through nine are 32. Kite, Treetop, and Grounded are 16, 8, and 4. Anything else, a pass, or a timeout is no lift. In Noillirk, a small score is still a real answer. Only a miss, a pass, or a timeout stays on the ground.
The backdrop changes as you rise: squirrels and birds, then eagles and cloud, then planes. A classic game of seven prompts tops out around the jet stream. Rockets and the Karman line are farther than one perfect climb. Noillirk saves the space beyond that line for Endless, where the prompts do not stop at seven.
Seven Sky High answers in Noillirk are 700 points and about 14 km. That is a perfect Classic or Daily climb, and it is still weather, not orbit. You can see the rider leave the trees, pass the clouds, and settle near the jet stream. The right-hand scale uses the same height, so the number and the picture agree.
Rank 1. The answer most people would give.
Ranks 2–4. Still a common answer.
Ranks 5–9. On the board, not the first word.
A listed long shot, off the main board.
Hardly anyone said it.
On the list, but almost no one chose it.
Modes
All three Noillirk modes ask for the answer most people would give. They differ in how many prompts you get, and in how the climb ends. The timer, the hidden board, and the scores stay the same.
Everyone playing Noillirk gets the same seven today. A new day brings a new seven. You play that set once, so your score lines up with everyone else who climbed today.
Fifteen seconds each. Every Noillirk start deals a new seven, and you can play as often as you like. A perfect 700 points climbs to about 14 km, still around the jet stream.
One prompt after another, with no set number of rounds. Run out of time, pass, or score nothing, and one balloon pops. Any answer that scores keeps them. Sky High restores one, up to three. Only Endless reaches space and the heights past it.
Questions
Every Noillirk prompt is a survey question for this climb: name what most people would say. Common answers lift farther. A few rarer ones still count for a small lift. These are this site’s questions, not another site’s daily.
Daily is one shared set of seven for the day. Classic deals a new seven each time you start. Noillirk does not ask for a year, a capital you had to memorize, or a rule from a professional exam. If the answer needs a search, it is the wrong kind of prompt.
The prompts in Noillirk stay close to ordinary life. People lose things, carry the same objects, and name the same breakfast. They talk about aches, jobs, relatives, and the first word a baby says. Food shows up constantly: coffee, pizza, soup, the snack you buy without thinking. Travel prompts ask for a country or a city people already picture, not a hidden landmark.
Songs, cartoons, and movies appear when almost everyone would recognize them. School and work prompts are the excuses, the meetings, and the cafeteria food people still complain about. Now and then Noillirk asks a joke, such as what an auctioneer’s baby says first, because the punchline is what the crowd picks. The funny answer is the popular answer.
A single prompt
After the countdown, Noillirk shows the prompt, a category, and an empty box. Submit when the word is ready. The result names the tier, the points, and a short line about how common that answer was. Then you go to the next prompt, or you see the climb if the set is over.
Sky High means you hit the answer most people would give. Jet Stream means you were close, still in the top few. Cloud Nine means the word was on the board but not the first shout. Kite, Treetop, and Grounded mean somebody might say it, just not many people. No Lift means Noillirk does not count that guess for that prompt.
Matching is generous about ordinary wording. “Keys” and “car keys” can land on the same answer. A plural often counts. A long clever sentence usually does not, because the crowd would not have typed it. If two answers are close, Noillirk prefers the more exact one. You still only learn the result after you submit.
The picture
Noillirk starts on the forest floor. Squirrels and birds sit at the sides. As the points add up, the sky shifts, the sun moves, and the rider rises with the card. Eagles and cloud come next, then planes. The ruler on the right marks the height in meters and kilometers, so a big score is not only a bigger number. You can see how far the balloons have carried you.
A perfect seven in Noillirk stops around 14 km. That is high, and it is still the atmosphere. The lower stratosphere, the Karman line, and everything past them need more points than seven prompts can give. Classic and Daily are built to end there. They are a short climb you can compare, not a voyage.
Endless is the Noillirk mode that keeps the balloons in the air. Each prompt that scores protects them. A Sky High answer can restore one balloon, up to three. A pass, a timeout, or a word that scores nothing pops one. When the last balloon is gone, the climb stops, wherever you are. That is how a long run reaches space, orbit, and the heights named after it.
Same day
Noillirk Daily gives everyone the same seven prompts for the day, in the same order. A new day brings a new seven. You take that set once, so a score from the morning and a score from the evening are scores on the same climb. Tell a friend the number. You were answering the same lines.
Classic is the opposite kind of Noillirk session. You can start it whenever you want, and each start deals a fresh seven. It is for practice, for a bored afternoon, or for chasing 700 again after a messy Daily. Endless is for players who want the picture to keep changing after the jet stream.
Your Noillirk score stays in this browser. There is no account and no public leaderboard. Daily is comparable because the prompts match, not because the site stores a ranking. Clear the browser and that climb is gone. Another browser has its own climb.

The game sits on this page under the hero, and again on the play page. Choose Daily, Classic, or Endless, then begin the ascent. Noillirk counts down from three and hands you the first prompt. Type the obvious answer. Watch the balloons.
If you only have a few minutes, play Daily. Those seven prompts are the shared Noillirk climb for today. If you want another set immediately, switch to Classic. If you want to see how far three balloons can go, switch to Endless and keep the common answers coming.
The short version.
